My purpose is to support you emotionally and practically through the formative years of your business growth. I'm here to metaphorically 'Reside' within your business for as long as you need with a unique perspective to help you gain the clarity you need to thrive.
Supporting Creative business owners has become a passion of mine, as a serial business owner myself, I know first hand how incredible the highs are, but also how difficult the struggles of running your own business are and what a lonely place it can be. You will always have highs and lows in business, just as we do in life, and sometimes all it takes is a conversation with someone completely impartial to help you see the light again.
With over 20 years of not only business experience, but experience in starting up creative businesses alongside working with my partner and us raising our 3 children, I can completely empathise with what you are going through.
Mentoring is a great way to work out any worries or specific difficulties you maybe experiencing day to day, but also we work on your overarching purpose and vision for both your work and life. With this deep work, you will go on to have a far more successful business.

'CREATIVITY IS CONTAGIOUS, PASS IT ON'
Helen is currently the Co-founder and Creative Director Cutture, a bespoke design agency, with her husband.
Cutture is an internationally renowned bespoke design studio, creating all manner of magical things from paper for global events and luxury brands ..
In 2019 Helen also founded Mantel, an e-commerce brand creating products to support Mental health and wellbeing for families and workplaces. Whilst this brand was a beautiful product and service throughout the Pandemic, (with a host of accolades from being featured on TV, celebrity endorsements and pop-up shops in John Lewis to name a few!), Helen decided to close this brand end of 2022 to focus on Mentoring and Cutture as events opened up again.
The skills and knowledge gained from creating Mantel and it's products will be invaluable for Mentoring moving forward.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
As our attention spans have decreased over the years, a quick fire introduction to me, as after all, this really is only about you, but you may just want to understand who you’re talking to here..

I started my first business when I was 22 with my now husband

I'm a fully qualified Interior Architect, but it's been a while since I've used that title!

After sitting on a reception desk for a year, I had that sliding doors moment of being offered a full time job working for a globally renowned architect, which I politely turned down in favour of going part time in their model making workshop as we had already pressed ‘go’ on our own businesses, (and I preferred the messy workshop area of the practice).

I believe these sliding door moments are what life is all about, the decision we make at that one moment in time to take us down one path or another..

We fell into parenthood at the tender age of 24, our business was 2 years old

We now have 3 incredible girls, or rather young women, who are fiercely independent and now teaching us a thing or two

I believe a business should give back and take responsibility for their imprint on the planet.

I also believe that your team are your team, not your ‘staff’, let them flourish and you will all go far.

We’ve won a few awards but we hate awards, unless they are truly based on authenticity. The real testament is that we’ve managed to grow teams, family and keep living a healthy life for the past 20 years whilst being self employed.

We’ve set up 4 businesses over the years, a creative, a multi disciplinary design studio, an architectural model making studio, a bespoke event stationery design house and recently a brand that creates products to support mindset and metal wellbeing.

We’ve worked for some big names, luxury brands, but the best part is seeing a team who have grown focussing on their craft, then making a client cry because they are so blown away with the result

We now have a Beagle, we have a love hate relationship, but I adore him really.

I also have a cat, so don’t ask if I’m a cat or dog person.

I recently experienced grief like I have never experienced before, I learnt alot about that emotion.

My favourite saying is, ‘nothing changes, if nothing changes’ I remind myself when I’m procrastinating.

Travel is my passion, I love experiencing new cultures and places, I feel the most at home when I’m abroad

I love to solve problems

I’ve recently got into paddle boarding but I find it really hard to inflate which is stopping me going, need to work on that.

I’m dreadful at self promotion but I like to chat

I’m an empath, I’m learning that is my super power.
